Put a limit on mobile data on Huawei
The first thing we will do to put mobile data under control on the Huawei smartphone is to set a limit that prevents us from exceeding it. But also, we will put a reminder reached a specific percentage, with which we will know that we must control the use of mobile data until the end of the period. To do so, you just have to follow these steps:
- We enter the mobile Settings.
- Click on Mobile networks.
- Now we choose the option Data usage.
- Then we enter “More data settings”.
- Here we will choose a monthly data limit.
- Then choose a starting day.

Block mobile data consumption with EMUI
Another method we have to prevent apps from consuming mobile data on Huawei is to use blocking of this access. To do this, we will only have to go into Settings> Mobile networks> Data usage and go down to the apps that consume the most data and in which we do not want that to happen.
The options that it allows us to use are several and according to our needs we can choose them. We can do this process with each of the apps individually.
- Mobile data: block access to the app always on mobile data.
- WiFi: block the app’s access to the WiFi network
- Background data: blocks the use of data when we are not using the app.
- Roaming data.
