What Will Distinguish the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro Screens?

The OnePlus 9 series is scheduled for launch at the end of this quarter and we have already seen some leaks about the two models that will bring it to life this weekend. Now new information allows us to delve into the screen differences that we will find between the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro.

You can imagine that, in a year where all the big phone launches are coming forward, the OnePlus range tops shouldn’t take long to show their face. If the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro were presented in April 2020, this year they could see the light of day a few weeks earlier.

Of course, the two models will have a Snapdragon 888 processor inside and a battery with a fast charge of 65W or more, but what the new leak on the phones today highlights is how their different screens will look.

Different screens for different mobiles

Digital Chat Station is once again the medium in charge of advancing that the OnePlus 9 will include a flat screen FHD + with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a size of 6.55 inches. Meanwhile, the leaker says that the OnePlus 9 Pro will offer a curved QHD + panel with the same 120Hz refresh rate and a larger size that would reach 6.78 inches.

Both would follow a design line that began last year with the different smartphones that the brand launched on the market. Both the standard model and the Pro version are designed with a small perforation in the left corner to accommodate a front camera that is probably starring the same sensor in both models.

The leakster also advances the same specifications that we talked about a few lines further back, such as a 4,500 mAh battery with 65W fast charge and the best processor developed by Qualcomm to push the top of the range of 2021. To this we have to add a design featuring a thin thickness and a weight that would stay below 200 grams.

Here it should be noted that the two models may not share the same battery as the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro did not . Everything will depend on whether the brand wants to enhance the desire of both devices at the expense of saving something in battery capacity but until the mobiles are presented we cannot venture into this aspect.

We hope OnePlus will give us more details on this sooner rather than later.
