In recent weeks, the leaks and rumors about what the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 will bring us have not stopped repeating themselves, making us already know many details about this phone. So much so that the latest information leads us to imagine a very close launch , which is not surprising, since the Redmi Note 11 was launched in China in the same month of October.
This means that the manufacturer’s most popular phones will have at least one worthy successor before the end of the year. We are used to other brands not making their phones evolve too much from one year to the next, although that does not happen in Xiaomi, which does not stop innovating inside and out, as it seems that it will happen again in the most striking smartphone due to its relationship price quality.
A mobile that fears nothing
The first thing we knew about this smartphone was its name and serial number, which opened the doors to a few certifications, where the screen appeared. If already in the previous generation the panel was AMOLED, it will improve and grow , reaching over 6.4 inches, as they point out in China. Much of the blame would fall on tighter frames, maintaining the same FullHD + resolution and a brightness that is already sufficient in all cases. Along with a central hole that will give way to the selfie camera, of which there are no details.
The interior has one of the most relevant changes, since MediaTek will enter the scene again with a chip called Dimensity 1080 5G. A processor that is much more similar to what we saw in the Redmi Note 11 Pro, showing a leap in quality in the mid-range . Among its possibilities there is no lack of the best connectivity and also a very outstanding camera sensor, reaching 200 Mpx, although it does not seem that this is going to be the decision in this case. We’d settle for a good 108MP or 50MP prime lens with the ability to take in a lot more light, rather than focus on detail.
The battery will repeat play with 5,000 mAh, although with more autonomy thanks to the evolution of the processor. With regard to fast charging, if it was not enough, everything indicates that it will reach 67W, a pass for a phone that could be around 200 euros in exchange.
This will not be the only Redmi Note 12
Beyond the most long-awaited terminal of the next Note 12 series, there will be at least three smartphones that accompany it, the Redmi Note 12S, Redmi Note 12 Pro and the Redmi Note 12 Pro +. The names could vary, since Xiaomi usually keeps an ace up its sleeve, but either way, they will be displaying slightly modified qualities of the terminal that we have already seen.
On the one hand, the Redmi Note 12S is the one that raises the most doubts, since it may not be presented yet. These Redmi Note 12 Pro, as you can imagine, will be somewhat more expensive and prepared phones. Among the added benefits would be that 200 Mpx camera that many crave and the powerful 120W fast charge, ready to charge the phone in just 20 minutes.
The exterior appearance would also make an evolutionary leap, radically changing the cameras that we have become accustomed to in the rear. Now the design becomes more minimalist and makes the module that combines the lenses not so conspicuous. For the rest of the details, we will have to wait, at least, according to our personal bet, until the end of this month of October.
