Simplify Facebook Access: Learn How to Enable and Disable Save Login Data

Saving login information on Facebook can be a convenient way to access your account without repeatedly entering your credentials. This feature is disabled by default but can be manually activated following these simple steps.

Enabling Save Login Information

  1. Visit the main Facebook page and log in to your account using your credentials.
  2. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner to access the dropdown menu.
  3. Select “Settings.”
  4. Within the settings, click on “Password and security,” located under “Meta – Account Center.”
  5. In the “Password and security” section, you can change your password and enable two-step authentication for added security. Additionally, you’ll find the “Saved Login” option.
  6. Click on “Saved Login.”
  7. Inside the “Saved Login” section, click on “Save login information.” Facebook will now save your login data in your browser.
  8. You can close the tab and any other open browser tabs. Make sure to log out of your Facebook session before closing, as the next time you access the Facebook website, your profile will automatically open.

Disabling Save Login Information

If you no longer wish to have your login information saved by Facebook, you can disable this feature by following these steps:

  1. Visit the main Facebook page and log in to your account.
  2. Click on your profile picture in the top right corner to access the dropdown menu.
  3. Select “Settings.”
  4. Within the settings, click on “Password and security,” located under “Meta – Account Center.”
  5. In the “Password and security” section, find the “Saved Login” option.
  6. Click on “Saved Login.”
  7. Instead of the “Save login information” option, you will now see two choices:
    • Delete saved login information
    • Delete account
  8. Select the option you prefer. If you choose to delete saved login information, you will need to enter your account’s email address and password as additional confirmation.
