One of the main needs that we face on mobile phones is to see the notifications that we have on the lock screen , which allows us with a simple touch on the power button or on the screen, to know if someone has sent us a message or we have a pending notification. However, owners of Samsung mobiles find that these notifications do not appear.
The problem is because Samsung’s initial configuration does not show all the details and that causes us to have to follow a few simple steps to get it. This occurs in any smartphone that integrates One UI in its different versions , since the steps do not change in mobiles of different ranges or newer and older models.
The trick to see notifications on Samsung with one tap
Before entering to change the settings, we want to teach you a simple trick with which you can see and read the notifications on the Samsung lock screen . We just have to go to the lock screen and then touch the small icons of the notifications that appear in the center with your finger.

By making this touch, the first ones will be shown automatically and we will not have to unlock the mobile to consult them unless we have configured privacy in another way. This anyway always unified us when we have not unlocked it for a while, it forces us to do so in order to use this functionality.
Steps to read notifications on Samsung lock screen
If we want to start the intermediate steps, we can also fully read the notifications on the screen of Samsung Galaxy phones. We will achieve this by completing the following steps:
- We enter Mobile Settings.
- We go to the section called Lock Screen.
- Then we scroll down to find Notifications.

Just by tapping on the small blue button we will be able to choose if we want the notifications to be shown or not shown on the lock screen, although this was not our purpose. To be able to see the notifications completely we have to go to personalization, tapping on Notifications.
Customize notifications on the lock screen
Here we will have to change the option from “Only icons” to “Details”, now allowing messages or different news to be shown on the mobile’s locked screen . To make the experience more complete, we can also customize the lock screen notifications, showing the icons on the Always On Display screen or, for example, with a change of transparency in the notifications.
