The alarm of our mobile is too important an element for many users, to allow it to fail. But unfortunately this happens, and sometimes, it does not sound when it should not directly does not sound. This can cause us a lot of problems, but luckily, we have the solution at hand so that it does not happen again.
Gone are the alarm clocks that go off with a bang, since we are too attached to our mobile to throw it against the wall when the alarm sounds. The problems with the alarm can be varied, as the causes that cause them. Logically, the biggest of them is that it does not sound, which is precisely what it is designed for.
How to fix the failure of the alarm that does not sound
Adjust the alarm volume
The first check we must do is to check that the volume of the alarm tone is not too low or is in silent mode. To do this, we will have to enter the sound settings of our mobile and drag the sliding volume control corresponding to the alarm to the right to guarantee its maximum volume.

Change the alarm tone
Sometimes, it is possible that the alarm tone that we have selected by default or that we have changed manually, has been corrupted or removed from the system. In this case, we will have to enter the sound settings of our mobile again and modify the alarm tone, to verify if this is the problem that prevents it from ringing.
Deactivate the option “Turn mute”
This is an option that many terminals support, and that can affect the correct operation of some alarms. Its objective is to silence calls or alarms if we turn our mobile over. If we have the function activated we must deactivate it to see if it is the problem. It will be easy to know whether or not we have this option on our mobile by searching for “Rotate” or “Flip” in the search box of the Settings menu.

Alarm in silent mode
Some terminals allow the alarm to be enabled so that the silent mode does not interfere with the alarms. This setting can be found in the alarm settings, with a selector that activates and prevents the alarm from sounding in this mode.
Clear the watch cache
This method works many times. It is about looking for the clock or the alarm application on our mobile, within Settings / Applications. Once inside we will have to touch on Storage / Clear cache. Then we will have to add the alarms again since the problem has possibly disappeared.
If it fails with the mobile off
Many users are afraid to turn off the mobile, believing that that way there is less chance that the alarm will work correctly . However, it shouldn’t be a problem, although sometimes glitches do occur.
Allow alarm with phone off
In some mobiles we must allow the alarms to sound with the terminal off. In this type of mobile, before turning off a box can be checked to allow the alarms to sound when the phone is turned off.

Check the time
The failure may be due to a system boot that is too slow. This will prevent the alarm from sounding at the appropriate time, so it is recommended to set the alarm at least five minutes before when the mobile is turned off. Having a sufficient battery level is also important to avoid scares.
A third party app
It is also common to use a third-party app to manage alarms . In this case, you have to check that the app has all the accepted permissions, necessary to be able to ring when we turn off the mobile. If the problem persists, it is possible that the app is not suitable and we will have to use the native one of the system again.
