NEOGEO’s perfect arcade
Thanks to the immediate romance that these types of games produce, the manufacturers have decided to exploit the potential of the old platforms to launch all kinds of miniature consoles with which to play the classics of before. We have already seen Nintendo NES, Mega-Drive and a NEOGEO mini arcade , and it is precisely the latter who returns to the fray with another somewhat special product.
And it is that SNK has presented the MVSX, a special version of the famous arcade that proposes to enjoy the successful arcade platform on a very interesting scale that will allow two players to play simultaneously on a 17-inch screen.
Features of the MVSX Home Arcade
This domestic arcade has a total of 50 pre-installed juices, mounts a 17-inch screen with a 1,280 x 1,024 pixel resolution, measures 39 centimeters deep, 49 centimeters wide and 63 centimeters high, and weighs a total of 12 kilos.
If you do not have an area to place it, the manufacturer also offers an accessory as a stand that will turn the mini cabin into an almost life-size cabin, including details such as the coin holder. This base will raise the cabin to a height of 81 centimeters, allowing us to adopt a comfortable position when playing.
It will be interesting to see what platform it hides inside and what processor it mounts to move the games. Will we get a surprise in the form of Raspberry Pi?

How much?
As you can imagine, the price of this cabin will be somewhat higher than what the mini consoles were used to. The product will be available from October, and will have an official price of 450 dollars , going to 499 dollars if you decide to buy the version with the base included (which costs 100 dollars separately). The product is expected to be distributed internationally, so we should have no problem acquiring it in Europe.
