Apple has not completely said goodbye to Intel and not only because it continues to market several of its computers with chips of this brand, but because it is expected that in the next year it will continue to do so. It was to be expected that in somewhat more expensive versions the firm led by Tim Cook would not yet bet on Apple Silicon in favor of the user and the still slow transition of apps by the developers. However, in the last few hours information has emerged that suggests that we will still see basic MacBook with Intel processors.

Redesign of the MacBook also with Intel?
We recently heard some information from Ming-Chi Kuo in which the analyst stated that Apple will redesign the MacBook range next year. It was understandable that these aesthetically renewed equipment would incorporate Apple Silicon, possibly an M2 or any other derivative version of the current M1. However, the leaker L0vetodream hinted yesterday through his Twitter account that this redesign will not only reach Apple Silicon, so it is suspected that there will also be teams with Intel.
M2 could coexist with 11th generation Intel
The new M1-chip Macs are delivering great performance in their first few weeks on the market, which bodes very well that Apple will do great things with its processors. However, it must be admitted that despite the good work of Rosetta 2, there are still many applications or functions such as Bootcamp that are not possible to carry out on these computers. This is reason more than enough for Apple not to completely abandon computers with third-party chips and this is where the possible 2021 renovation comes in.

Although in the ‘Air’ range Apple only sells MacBook with M1, in the ‘Pro’ of 13 inches the versions of the M1 coexist with the tenth generation Intel. Therefore, it would not be strange that in 2021 it continues to be the same despite the improvement that the future M2 chip will have obtained and that the applications will be increasingly optimized. Possibly those Intel processors will also be updated to the eleventh generation, although it remains to be seen if the well-known leaker finally hits the mark that they will also be aesthetically renewed.
