Today we do not conceive our smartphone without the possibility of taking photos . The camera is an important element, as a means of communication and to capture all our memories. For this reason, a bad experience with the camera or finding bugs can ruin our plans. Today we have looked closely at LG , to be able to solve the main errors with its cameras.

It is not uncommon to find problems derived from abnormal operation in the camera of our LG. In many occasions the solution is at hand, but in others we will have to return our mobile to factory values and in the worst case, pay a visit to the Technical Service.
How to fix the problems
There are many types of failures that we can find, but the most common ones usually have solutions in common. If the camera application stops , does not respond, works slowly or is not capable of taking photos, we must try all the solutions that we tell you below.
Restart camera
It is possible that after continued use, the camera app may experience performance problems, usually related to its cache. To be able to fix it, we must exit the camera application and then force its closure from Settings / Applications / Camera / Force Close . Then we start the application again and its operation should respond correctly.
Camera cache
As we have previously commented, it is possible that after a lot of use, the camera cache will become saturated, that is, that the accumulated information may cause conflicts and malfunctions. In this case we will have to clear the cache. For this we go to Settings / Applications and click on the camera app . Then we will have to click on “Clear Cache”. Once the app is started, we will check that everything works correctly.
Clear the data
If the previous method does not work, we can proceed to delete the data from the camera. These settings, unlike the cache, will affect any default configuration that we have configured. However, it will free the application of any conflict that may have occurred , eliminating corrupt files. To do this we will have to go to the same menu as before, Settings / Applications and click on the camera app, but instead of tapping on clear cache, we will tap on “Clear data”. In the same way, we will start the app again to check if the problem has disappeared.
Restart the mobile
It seems an obvious step and it is, but sometimes we forget that a simple restart can return to make our LG work properly. It is a method similar to the classic “turn off and on” which does not have to be attributed a specific reason, but which works in the vast majority of cases.
Pending update?
LG releases continuous software updates. In many cases, these patches include enhancements or bug fixes including the camera. The overall stability of the system is also often improved. In this sense, we must check that we do not have any pending and if so, proceed to update the mobile to see if the problem disappears. We can do it from Settings / System / System Updates.

Enter Safe Mode
This method allows us to identify if any app is influencing so that our camera does not work correctly . LG Safe Mode allows you to solve many of the problems. In this case, third-party apps may be generating operating errors, when they have accepted permissions to use the camera.

To access Safe Mode we will have to hold down the power key of our LG mobile and we will keep it pressed until it asks us if we want to restart the terminal in Safe Mode. Once restarted in “Safe Mode” we will have to uninstall the installed applications in order from newest to oldest and check if the problem on the screen disappears.
The gallery app
The gallery application is directly linked to the camera, since even the preview of photos is done in “collaboration” between both apps. In many occasions it also works well to delete the cache and data of this application.

In this case we will have to go to the Settings menu and go to the Application Manager. Later we touched on “All” and we looked for the Gallery and we touched on her. We stop the application and then tap on Clear cache and Delete data. We only have to restart the mobile to verify if the camera is working as expected.
Return to factory settings
It is an extreme method and the last step, but it works in practically all cases. If not, we may be thinking about a hardware problem that may require the Technical Service to review our mobile to find the fault. Resetting our mobile to factory value will make everything as it was when we bought it, but keep in mind that all data will be erased.
To carry out the process we will have to go once more to Settings and click on Backup and reset . The next step is to tap on “Restore to factory settings” to reset the mobile. Once the process is finished, we will have to go to the camera app to see if it is properly fuchsia.
If nothing works
If we have tried all of the above and as a previous step before going to the Technical Service, we can try some alternative camera app. In many cases it not only fixes the performance problems of the native application, but could improve the final quality of the photos. There are many popular on Google Play, but we leave you with the most popular so you can try them for yourself.
