When it comes to mobiles, there are many comparators or specification websites. In them, we must look for data such as WiFi 6 , or its technical name, such as WiFi 802.11ax . The previous one, WiFi 5, is 802.11ac, where only the last letter changes, so it is important not to confuse them.
Manufacturer websites or the WiFi Alliance, other options
On the official websites of the manufacturers we can also search for the specifications of each product. Ultimately, if for whatever reason we do not find the information on any of those sites, we have the option of going to the WiFi Alliance’s own website ( Wi-Fi.org ), where by entering the name and model of the product, we The Wi-Fi standard that it supports will be displayed, as well as other additional information, such as the WPA standard that it uses and other additional security and connectivity features.

If you have a WiFi 6 router , but your mobile or computer is not, don’t worry, because the standard is backwards compatible and you will be able to continue using your devices. However, you will not be getting the most out of your network.
