2020 still has some great presentations, including of course the iPhone 12. During the last Apple presentation in which the company unveiled new products but not a trace of the iPhone, those from Cupertino did show some of the processor’s features A14 Bionic, which will be integrated into the iPhone 12 . Now, a filtered performance test of the iPhone 12 Pro Max , could show what Apple is new to the most powerful Android phones.

The A14 Bionic processor is the new chip from the apple company, manufactured in a 5nm process. This is something that has yet to happen in Android processors, where the next Snapdragon 875 is expected to be part of the brain of the high-end of 2021. However, now we see a proof that if it is real, it could show that Apple will remain far behind in terms of performance of Android terminals.
Your test in AnTuTu
This time it was the famous “leaker” Ice Universe, who shared on his Twitter account the result of a performance test of the iPhone 12 Pro Max, carried out with the famous AnTuTu program. In its results, it can be seen how the terminal, working with the A14 Bionic chip and iOS 14.1, reaches 572,333 points. Recall that the most powerful Android phones on the market with Snapdragon 865 easily overcome the 600,000 point barrier, while the peaks reached by the new Snapdragon 865+ touch 670,000 points in this program.

If faced with real data, this result of the iPhone 12 Pro Max with the A14 Bionic differs by just 47,000 points from the results obtained by the A13 Bionic chip in the iPhone 11 Pro Max. The differences with the Android phones that are yet to come, could be more abysmal when the first terminals with Snapdragon 875 of 5nm begin to arrive, planned for the end of 2020 and 2021.

Results with caution
However, the reliability of these tests can only be taken into account when the iPhone 12 Pro Max goes on the market and these tests can be performed with the final versions of the product . A lower RAM capacity also works against Apple when it comes to achieving results. We must also always keep in mind the difference in architectures and operating systems that separate the iPhone from its Android rivals. We still have to know the exact presentation date of the new iPhone 12, since Apple still does not give clues about it.
