March 2021, possible launch of the iPad Pro?
From ETNews , a Korean medium with good information on Apple’s supply chains, a report has recently come out in which they suggest that Apple could launch its next iPad Pro in the first quarter of 2021 . Considering Apple’s usual release schedule, it wouldn’t be surprising if it finally arrived in March. However, it must be borne in mind that with the COVID-19 pandemic, everything can change.
What news would it bring?
The A12Z Bionic processor featured in the 2020 iPad Pro is still the company’s most powerful chip to date, beating even the A14. In these tablets the company always adds an improved version of its turn processors to give them better performance. This new iPad Pro is expected to incorporate an unprecedented A14X Bionic that, who knows, could very soon release the first MacBook with the company’s chips.
In addition to this expected improvement, it is said that they will have a screen with mini-LED technology that would considerably improve the Liquid Retina that the current ones incorporate, although it is already very good. Not only would this provide a visual improvement apparent to the naked eye, but it would continue to have the 120 Hz refresh rate that the 2017 models already added and those of 2018 and 2020 followed.
Little else is known about everything else. Its design is expected to remain the same or with very few variants, since the redesign that was made at the time seems to be the one indicated for these tablets. What remains to be seen is whether just a 12.9-inch model is launched and the 11-inch model is left behind . The latter, far from being confirmed information, could have its indications in the launch of the new iPad Air 2020 with a very similar size.
