The performance of our phone is one of the things that inevitably decreases over time. New versions of the system, more apps installed and more demanding of these influence this. And there is a little trick that allows us to enjoy a little more performance to the mobile, freeing it from some graphic tasks.

System animations are usually very attractive, especially when they work as they should, at the speed they were designed for. The problem is when these animations can negatively influence performance, especially on those phones that have more basic technical characteristics.
Reduce or cancel system animations
System animations on Android can have a negative influence on the performance of the terminal. It may not be huge, but if the phone already has certain limitations, these will be amplified. Well, the ideal is that we completely deactivate the system animations .

This is something that can be disabled on any Android phone easily and quickly, although for this we will have to activate the Android developer mode. That menu dedicated to development that is present in all phones of the Google operating system. Well, the animations can be made more or less noticeable, and even deactivate them. The idea is to do the latter, so that they are no longer a factor that can influence the performance of the phone.
How are these animations disabled?
Well, as we said, for this it is necessary to activate the developer options . As you know, this can have implications in some apps, the least, sometimes limiting certain functionalities, but we are talking about something residual, each time it influences the phone software environment less. Well, we tell you all the steps:
- Access your mobile settings
- Go to “System”
- Enter the “phone information”
- Click seven times on “build number”
- Now you are a developer
- From the same settings we will find the developer options, depending on the manufacturer, they can be found in the advanced settings

Now within these developer options , we must slide the menu to do the following:
- Access the “Drawing” section
- Click on “Window animation scale”, “Transition-animation scale”, and “Animation duration scale”
- In the pop-up window, click on “Animation disabled”
By default some type of animation should be activated, so by deactivating them it is possible that the performance improves , something that we will notice especially on those mobiles where the performance is already quite limited . This will give it a certain “push” that will help to offer us a somewhat more fluid performance especially in transitions when we move through the system.
