Although our mobile can play all kinds of multimedia content, on many occasions, what we like is to play this content on a larger screen. This is a great way to save battery life and enjoy content wirelessly on a compatible device. But sometimes things don’t work the way they should, and the screen sharing or sending tool can also crash.

When we want to connect two devices wirelessly, there are many factors to take into account. We must not forget that products with different protocols must be connected, that they can be connected to the same network and where the relationship between hardware / software must work perfectly to avoid surprises. The problem is that sending content from our mobile to another screen does not always work correctly, but luckily we have several solutions to fix it.
Mobile cannot send content: solutions
The solution is as simple as touching on our mobile and sending the screen to TV. This serves both to see the mobile screen duplicated on the other screen , and to launch the various applications that support this technology, and which are the majority of those present in the market.
Check our connection and that of the other device
This is the first check we must do. First of all, make sure that our mobile is connected to the Wi-Fi network and that we can navigate correctly. Then we must verify the same on the TV or second screen, since both devices must be connected to the same network. If possible, we must vary the TV connection between data and cable, to rule out that this could be the problem.
Is the app compatible?
We know that apps like YouTube or Netflix allow content to be sent to other connected screens, but there are still many applications that do not allow this type of connection . We must verify if the wireless connection icon appears at the top of the application. If not, it may not be supported and for this reason the connection cannot be made.

Change mobile connection mode
It is possible that the problem is in the type of connection established by our router. There may be compatibility issues, if one of the devices is connected to the 2.4Ghz network, while the other is connected to the 5GHz network. In this case, we must make both the mobile and the external device are connected to the same network standard, and try the content delivery again.
Data activated and not the Wi-Fi network
It is something that should be part of the initial check, but many times, we try to send content from our mobile , with only the data network being activated. This will be the reason why the connection icon does not appear. This can happen because the Wi-Fi icon has been accidentally turned off and we are under the data network without being aware.
When Wi-Fi + is on
The screen projection function may be affected if Wi-Fi + is enabled. To check it we will have to enter the network settings or write Wi-Fi Plus in the search box. If we find the selector activated, we must press to deactivate it and try again.

Clear application cache
This process tries to eliminate the problem, clearing the cache of the apps involved. Some of your files may have become corrupted and are adversely affecting your connection ability. To do this we will have to enter Settings / Applications and select the app from which we cannot send the content. Then click on “Clear data and cache”, restart the mobile and try again.
Reset all settings and devices
This solution involves restarting all the devices involved in the connection, so that connectivity is restored in all of them and the function can be restored. Therefore we must:
- Restart the router
- Close the app from which we want to send the content
- Reset mobile network settings: Settings / Networks / Reset Network Settings
