There is no doubt that there is great anticipation about the arrival of HarmonyOS to the market. Everyone knows that Huawei phones that currently have EMUI are going to be updated to this new Chinese operating system. And now that we are nearing its premiere, we have an almost final list of its first benefactors.
It is not the first time that a list of devices that will receive the new version of the system from the Chinese brand has been published, but it is evident that just four days before the launch event of the system this list can be much more credible.
What mobiles will release it?
Well, at the event next Wednesday, we are not only going to learn about this new operating system in an official way and in detail, but we are also going to receive detailed information about its expansion in the brand’s phones. And within this information will logically be the one relative to which will be the first mobiles to go from EMUI to this new HarmonyOS . And the information that now comes from China points to the following mobiles as the ones that will receive it first.

These would be the Huawei Mate 40, Mate 40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro +, Mate 40 RS, Mate X2, nova 8, nova 8 pro and MatePad Pro . So we are talking about the first eight phones and tablets that will experience the new Huawei software. These phones will receive an update that will replace Android in EMUI with Android based on HarmonyOS. Because as you know, although it is a new operating system, the reality is that it is still based on stock Android, so there are many similar features.

What to expect from this system?
Obviously there are many expectations placed on it, although there are some that are obviously not going to be met. Since we start from the fact that it will not be possible to have Google services, and therefore we will have to look in other aspects of the system to find a notable improvement with respect to EMUI. Above all, it seems that with the new HarmonyOS, Huawei mobile users will enjoy a faster and more efficient operating system .

This means that with the same hardware they will notice a higher speed of use in the terminal, and they will also notice that there is a greater autonomy than using EMUI . That was one of Huawei’s main objectives, to find a system similar to iOS, which offers other advantages over stock Android. And according to the first tests, it seems that they have succeeded. Their main handicap in the West will be above all to overcome the absence of Google apps and services, we will see how the play comes out.
