One of the things that the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic will curiously leave behind is precisely the use in a greater number of companies of teleworking. Europe has generally been one step behind other countries such as the US in this area, where unlike the Americans, most national companies do not offer a PC to work from home and it is the worker himself who has than to buy one. Therefore, today we will see the best Intel PC for teleworking today.
What does an Intel PC need to be able to telework in our company? Teleworking is really a relative concept and it encompasses too many professions to be able to adjust to each user. The truth is that most of these works, apparently, do not require a great power but rather the opposite, so from the outset we will focus precisely on this most common and broad segment or sector of the market.

The other option would be a PC for each type of job, something as large as it is ambiguous in most cases, so it is better to focus on the bulk of the population and their needs.
Intel Core i3-9100

A processor that is currently at a really competitive price. Its F version is even cheaper if possible, but it would imply buying a dedicated graphics card that would shoot the cost at best.
We are talking specifically about a 4-core CPU without HT at a base frequency of 3.6 GHz and a turbo frequency of 4.2 GHz , for which it integrates 6 MB of L3 and all in a TDP of only 65 watts . Although its IMC according to Intel only supports up to 2400 MHz, as we will see later we will go a step further to maximize the performance of the platform without compromising stability or durability.
Its iGPU is the well-known UHD 630 , which will run at 1.1 GHz supporting up to 4K monitors at 60 Hz.
ASUS PRime H310M-D R2.0

It is a fairly complete motherboard to be low-end. As we are designing an Intel PC for teleworking we have chosen this model because it includes COM, LPT and D-Sub ports as standard, in addition to clear HDMI .
With this and the 6 USB ports, support for PS2 in keyboard and mouse as well as its GbE must meet the main needs of any worker who needs support for both new and old peripherals.
Its memory support extends to 2666 MHz , you get four SATA 6 Gb / s and an M.2 that supports SATA or PCIe x2.
Corsair Vengeance LPX 2 x 8 GB DDR4 2666 MHz C16

The memory cannot go fair in any PC, since the requirements of the software do not do but grow. We could have opted for its 2 X 4 GB version and save a few euros, but the price difference is so low that we have decided to include 2 X 8 GB and let the user forget about this component for many years.
As expected, we are talking about a brand that offers a lifetime warranty on its memories, which reach 2666 MHz and will strain the processor’s BMI, but allow us to gain some performance without compromising stability, since the controller Memory can handle much faster speeds.
Their timings are 16-18-18-36-2T , so we are not really dealing with modules that are forced, but rather the opposite, they will be very relaxed.
Western Digital Blue 500 GB SSD M.2 SATA

The choice of this component instead of its 2.5-inch version is precisely to take advantage of the M.2 port that includes the board and avoid two cables in between in the PC that are not necessary.
Its performance is equal to that of its brother, so all are advantages since it reaches 560 MB / s in sequential reading and 530 MB / s in sequential writing. Their resistance is b and between both models only 2 euros separates them, a negligible figure for the comfort that not using cables in the tower represents.
Corsair CV450 80 Plus Bronze

Although the equipment will consume really little (+ -100 watts under stress, about 70 watts working, what a traditional light bulb) we always prefer to opt for power supplies that have three characteristics: a brand with good RMA (in case there are future problems ), a model that at least doubles the consumption of the equipment and finally a source that has had to pass an 80 Plus certification.
Unfortunately, there is almost no low-watt source that meets these requirements, so we have opted for a model that will be totally left over but complies with what is established and also at a good price. This Corsair CV450 is the lowest range of the brand, it is compact (125 mm long) and although logically it is not modular for its price, it has its meshed cables and a 12 cm fan, more than enough for this team.
Aerocool SI-5200 Frost

The choice of this box is totally subjective. The PC requirements are minimal, but because the CPU includes the stock heatsink, we have thought about improving the internal flow of the CPU to achieve a better temperature in this key component and thus lower the loudness of the heatsink to a minimum.
The three front fans will achieve this and also have an attractive RGB touch, something that gives it a touch of color. It has a side window so that we can see our equipment and from where we can see its system and dual camera design that will maximize heat dissipation.
All for a fairly contained price. And with this we close this Intel PC for teleworking, where as we have seen you do not have to spend much to be able to work with power and guarantees from home.
