A common problem that may have occurred is that, due to some sudden movement or blow, the cables that connect our hard disk with the system have come loose , which could cause the error to appear when trying to start the computer, since the boot system it would be unable to detect the hard drive.
To try to solve it we will have to open the case of our computer and in case it is a laptop we will remove the battery. Later we will move to disconnect all the hard drives and clean all the ports and cables that connect it to the system. Once finished, we reconnect them so that they are tight, connect the battery if necessary, close the cover and turn on the computer to check if it starts correctly. If we prefer not to risk playing inside our computer, we will need the help of a technician.
The hard drive is broken or broken
Another reason the error message may appear when trying to start the computer is due to a hard drive failure . To check it we should disconnect the hard drive from our computer and connect it to another PC to check if we can access its content. Repair or reinstall Windows 10
An easy way to fix this bug is to use the Repair option on the Windows 10 installation disc.
Once we start the computer with the Windows 10 DVD, we must select our language and select the “Repair” option located in the lower left. Run CHKDSK command to repair disks in Windows
If the option to repair the system did not work and you do not want to lose all the data by formatting and reinstalling Windows 10, you can choose to run the CHKDSK command from the Windows 10 DVD drive.
In this way we will restart the computer with the Windows 10 DVD drive, and once we have selected the language, click on “Repair the computer”. Next, click on “Troubleshoot”, then “Advanced Options” and finally “Command Prompt”. Here we must write ” CHKDSK C: / F ” (without using the quotes). Then we type ” CHKDSK C: / R ” (again without the quotes) and press Enter. After finishing the CHKDSK process, we will proceed to restart the computer and check if it has solved the problem.
