Age of Empires IV, release details
Microsoft has announced that on April 10 it will celebrate the Fan Preview, a half-hour streaming broadcast from which they will comment on many of the details that fans have been waiting to know since the first announcement of the game was presented at XO19. In this broadcast, they will comment on things like civilizations, the campaign mode and even show gameplay in action, so more than one fan should be more than nervous.
At the moment they have not wanted to share anything else, and have encouraged the community to follow the live broadcasts that they will carry out on their Twitch, Facebook Live, YouTube and Bilibili profiles to know all the news live. The event will begin on April 10 at 6:00 p.m. in Spain, and will last approximately half an hour.
The first images of the game
Fortunately, this announcement has been accompanied by a short video clip with which you can see a few seconds of some images of the game. In these images we can see how Age of Empires IV will continue to maintain the aesthetics of always, with graphics updated to the current times and many new features that could affect the physical plane of the game.
For example, we can see how the levels have elevations of the terrain that will serve to take advanced positions in front of the enemy. The mountainous formations and the great extensions of land previous to the fortresses that protect cities and castles are striking. We can also see quite striking light effects such as the shadows of each of the soldiers that are deployed on the ground, as well as a distribution of the elements to be built quite natural with camera movements that give the feeling that the city comes to life by Yes, alone.
Will it come to Xbox?
There are many users who continually ask if this game developed by Xbox Studios will reach the Microsoft console. At the moment there is no news of this, and although Xbox is capable of offering keyboard and mouse compatibility, at the moment it seems that Age of Empires IV will repeat strategy as Microsoft Flight Simulator already did, so almost with total probability PC users they will be the only ones who can immerse themselves in this wonderful world of real-time strategy.
