Pokémon Eggs can be earned at PokeStops, as gifts from friends, as a weekly reward for riding certain miles with Adventure Sync, or even by battling Team Rocket leaders. Each of them differs in the distance that must be traveled before they can be opened. Thus, there are eggs of 2.5, 7, 10 and 12 km . In each one of them a different Pokémon can come out, not being the same Pokémon that can come out in 5 and 10 km adventure synchro eggs as the others.
The way to achieve Pokémon with eggs is to walk the distance corresponding to each one of them using an incubator , so you will have no choice but to walk kilometers to achieve your incubated Pokémon. You could also opt for some cheat, although that would make you risk losing your account and all your efforts would be in vain. Do not forget to activate adventure sync , in the Pokémon options where it says Adventure Sync.

If you want to walk less , you can use a super incubator , which can be given to you on occasion or you can get in the store for 200 points, or even in a special pack that includes other elements. You can also buy incubators for 150 coins and put several at once, so for the same distance traveled you can get several egg Pokémon. Don’t forget to lay a new egg when the old one has hatched. From time to time there may be missions or events in which hatching an egg may take less time, so it is worth taking advantage of these occasions to get more Pokémon, especially those that are difficult to obtain.
The Pokémon that can appear in each egg will depend on the distance of these, but they can also change with some frequency , so it does not hurt that you are aware of this. You won’t be able to tell exactly which Pokémon is going to hatch from an egg until you go the distance and it appears in your Pokémon storage because this is just random and there’s nothing that can guarantee you a specific Pokémon.
However, if you are interested in a specific Pokémon, what you can do is check what types of Pokémon can hatch in each egg and prioritize these when selecting one to put in the incubator. In addition, some of them can come out with a shiny probability or not, something that is interesting if you want to get a specific variocolor Pokémon. The eggs do not guarantee that they will come out shiny, but it is another way to obtain them.
How to know which Pokémon can hatch from an egg
As we have already said, it is impossible to know exactly what the exact Pokémon that will come out is after you hatch it and travel the corresponding distance (don’t forget to have the GPS activated on your mobile and have adventure synchro activated) until you see it. However, you can find out what types of Pokémon can hatch from any egg you have in real time.
Doing it is much simpler than you imagine. Go to your profile, clicking on the photo, and follow the steps indicated below:
- Scroll down until you get to the eggs
- Press where it lays Eggs
- Choose the egg you are interested in

- press on him
- Go down on the screen (do not give it to start incubation)
- You will see below that it says Possible Pokémon
- There you will see the images of all those who could come out of this egg
- If you have incubated Pokémon nothing happens, you just have to press on the corresponding incubator and when you open it you will see below the list of possible

The chances that one or the other will come out will depend on its rarity, presented in the list as 1, 2 or 3 levels of rarity (1, 2 or 3 eggs). The ones at the top of the list are the ones that are most likely to hatch, but this does not mean that they are the ones that are going to come out, any of those that you find on this list can appear if you start incubation and walk the corresponding kilometers.
