Android mobiles are again the last to sign up for one of Twitter‘s novelties, but the Communities have finally arrived. Until now, only users who had an iPhone or who connected to the web version could start participating in these Communities, but after the latest update, we can also do it from our Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei or Realme mobile, among others.
This new Twitter utility will change the possibilities of the social network to a certain extent. A function that has been developing for a long time and it seems that it is finally beginning to take the big leap, so that users can take advantage of it and take advantage of it to generate conversations. Novelty that we still have to check if it is really interesting.
What are the Communities?
This is the first thing we should know, because it may sound like a tall tale at first. It is basically a function with which groups are generated within Twitter , in the purest style of Facebook. The same groups are divided by tastes and interests, being able to find us, for example, some dedicated to art, technology or football.

Something that we are going to get used to on Android mobiles and on any other device, because since it does not show the Twitter Communities account itself, we will see an icon at the bottom of the app. From this new menu , it will be from where we will be able to search for people with our interests and begin to be part of the group. At the moment, in order to join and participate we have to be approved by the administrators and moderators, just as if we do not respect the rules, we could be expelled.
It is something that is in its ‘diapers’ and that has many ways of continuing to be talked about. Among the future novelties, it is expected that messages can be highlighted in the groups and that questions be asked so that the rest of the participants can answer. A very interesting way to turn the social network around. Only time and our own use will tell if it is something interesting or if it happens without pain or glory through our mobiles.
When will it start showing up?
At the moment, the update has already been implemented through Google Play and although it has been extended to a large number of countries, it has not been activated worldwide. In Spain, we still cannot use it from the quick access menu and we have to visit the official Twitter of the Communities and click on each of the links.

Anyway, at any time we will be able to start using it more quickly when they decide to activate the button, as long as our Android mobile has the latest version of Twitter. For now, we are not in a hurry to use it, since, at the moment, they are based on small conversations in English without anything very interesting. We trust that in the future, when Spain welcomes this novelty with open arms, we will be able to find contents of our interest and that add value.
