AIs creating fake photos or faces are nothing new. These are becoming more advanced, to the point that the ones we have today work incredibly well. One of the most outstanding that we can use is Midjourney, an AI that we will find on a web page, that works on Discord and with which we can create authentic works of art just by writing what we want this artificial intelligence to draw. We tell you more about it.
Midjourney has, as we will see a little later, a free trial that allows us to test that it works for several attempts. If you haven’t tried it, we recommend that you do, as it’s a lot of fun and the AI barely takes a minute to authentically draw everything.

This is how Midjourney works, the AI that creates images
As we say, technology is evolving more and more to the point that artificial intelligences are capable of doing more and more things. Midjourney is the clear example of this , since with it we can create images from nothing just by writing a few words to define what we want to appear in it. The AI is still in beta, but despite this, it must be recognized that it works very well creating images of all kinds.
In order to use this AI we will need to have a Discord account . Creating and maintaining a Discord account is totally free, so you won’t have to pay a penny for it. You can use Discord both in its web version and by downloading the app that the platform has for the desktop of the computer. Once we have the account created, we will have to go to this Midjourney page, which will be the one that allows us to access this AI and its operation.
Once inside this website, we must go to the button that indicates ” Join the beta “, and a window will open to enter the AI’s own server where we can use it. The bot can be configured to be used on other Discord servers, but this is the easiest and fastest way we have to use it. When we are inside this server, we will only have to go to the left side and look for some channels called #newbies.
It will be in these channels where we will be able to use artificial intelligence, although its free operation is not unlimited. As the AI’s own support website explains, we’ll have about 25 different images to create before we need to subscribe for a fee. With those 25 images we will certainly have more than enough to have fun for a while and see the amount of madness that this artificial intelligence can create.
Within these #newbies channels we will have to write the /imagine command and a small text box will appear for us to write what we want the AI to draw for us. It is important for this that we comply with the content and moderation policies that the AI has, since otherwise we could be banned from using its functions. The requests that we put after the /imagine command will cause the AI to draw four different images in a span of approximately 60 seconds .

Once the four images are generated, they will appear below these two rows of buttons with which we can interact . The first of these rows are buttons to scale the images to a larger 1024 x 1024 pixel version, which will by default add more detail to the images. The second row will allow us to generate variations of one of the four images. These variations will lead the AI to create four images from one of the four it created in the first place.
