The new cheap 4K Smart TVs from Realme arrive in Europe

Realme has taken advantage of the Mobile World Congress to show all its power as a brand. Usually, the MWC -of which, by the way, we are showing you the main novelties through our YouTube channel- is usually an event very focused on mobile technology, a market in which Realme has most of its focus. However, the Chinese firm has also taken advantage of the event to show us its new line of televisions that will arrive in our country and throughout the European market.

The new range of Realme televisions

There will be two models: a 50-inch TV with 4K resolution and an affordable 32-inch alternative that seeks to recover a market that has been abandoned by the big TV manufacturers.

Let’s start with the star product. It is a television with a 50-inch surface and 4K resolution. Android TV will run inside and it will be compatible with the Google assistant, as has been seen in person at the fair in Barcelona.

The screen has very small borders and viewing angles of 178 degrees. Regarding its technology, the equipment will have Dolby Vision 4K and compatibility with Dolby Atmos and Dolby vision systems to make immersion in movies and television series more realistic. Along with this set of technologies prepared for sound, the firm has also highlighted that its television has Chroma Boost Picture Engine . This technology designed by the brand itself promises to offer higher brightness, better contrast levels and the ability to improve color, making the audiovisual experience much more attractive and enjoyable.

The brand has not announced the date on which this product will go on sale, but it is estimated that it will be launched within a few weeks. The sale price will be 499.99 euros , a very tight cost that continues to show us that Realme can produce quality devices at very competitive prices.

Realme Smart TV 32″

Secondly, Realme has also wanted to launch the typical 32-inch entry model with HD resolution . Its design is also careful, with its bezzel-less design as its main attraction. The image of this television will also be processed thanks to the Chroma Bost Picture Engine system, supported by a quad-core Mediatek SoC. The sound has not been neglected either, since the equipment has a 24-watt Quad Stereo speaker system.

The starting price in Europe will be 249.99 euros . Both this model and the 50-inch model will have to be analyzed in depth to assess its position compared to other bets on the market, such as the Xiaomi Mi TV P1, which will be a tough rival for said 50-inch model. For now, the basic model could have it somewhat easier if its Smart TV ecosystem fulfills its functions. After all, many manufacturers have neglected the 32-inch TV segment and it could be a good niche for Realme in the future if they are able to make affordable devices with enough quality to stand out from the rest.
