Although more than one update has been released that should fix it, it hasn’t worked on all phones. There are still many users affected by this bug , something that is generating several comments on social networks and in forums, given the high cost of smartphones and the lack of effective solutions.

It also worries many Pixel 6 owners:
If you’re on Android 13, this is an issue that affects a sizable portion of us Pixel 6 users. Google is aware of this issue, but there’s no roadmap to resolve it yet. This also happened to me after the update to Android 13.
Those of the Google Pixel 6 Pro are not saved:
I have the same problem with wireless charging on my 6 Pro . I reset it every time it doesn’t charge and then after the reset it starts charging wirelessly. I’ve only had this problem since the last software update in August.
The December security update still doesn’t fix it:
Pixel 6 pro, December 5 security update. I still can’t charge my phone wirelessly with any wireless charger.
To this day, it still doesn’t work.
My Pixel 4 XL stopped charging again last week. The battery icon at the top appears to be charging, but it isn’t.
The wait doesn’t seem to end
There are workarounds that work temporarily, such as clearing the cache and data in the Pixel Stand app and restarting the phone. There are even those who have gone to the application settings and forced stop and deactivate the Pixel Stand. But this does not assure us that, in a matter of days or hours, the error will be repeated.
Also, you can try only restarting the mobile before charging it. Where there do not seem to be any problems is with cable charging, another alternative in the meantime.
It only remains to wait for Google to present a definitive solution so that all Google Pixel users have the possibility of charging their phones wirelessly without problems. They may do it in next month’s update, but for that we will have to wait several weeks.
