It is possible that while we use our computer we notice a certain drop in performance and that it does not finish responding as it should. This can be caused by a high consumption of the RAM of the device. If we are using the PC intensively, it is likely that we have several programs open, browsers with tabs, and we even have the music player on, etc. All this can cause that we have consumed the RAM almost in its entirety, and therefore the problems begin.
Using a PC with high RAM consumption can be quite exasperating. In general, Windows usually manages it automatically, but there are times when some applications may be consuming more than desired, making it almost impossible to continue using the computer efficiently. Therefore, today we give you three easy tricks that we can do to save RAM on our Windows 10 PC.

Close programs that consume more RAM
The first trick that we can use to free up RAM from our PC is to close all the heavy programs that may be consuming all the available memory. To do this we must access the Task Manager by pressing “Control + Alt + Delete” on our keyboard. Once inside we must click on the “RAM” tab and in this way we will order all the processes from the one that consumes the most resources. Finally, right click on the programs that consume the most RAM and click on “End task”. In this way, the program will close and free up the occupied memory.

Disable applications that start with the PC
Another interesting option that we can use to free up RAM is to disable the applications that we have enabled by default to start at the same time as our PC does. In this way, we will also make our computer start up faster , as well as start using it with a greater amount of available RAM.
To do this, we must press “Control + Alt + Delete” again and thus enter the “Task Manager” again. Next, we must click on the “Start” tab, which we will find at the top, right in the middle of the “Application history” and “Users” tabs. Now we will see all the applications that run as soon as Windows starts. We click on the “Start Impact” tab, and those that have a High impact will appear first. Now we just have to take the ones we want and right-click on it and click on “Disable”. In this way they will stop starting automatically when we start our PC and leaving more RAM free.

Eliminate installed programs that we do not use
Sure we have a good amount of programs installed on our computer that we hardly ever use, but we have them there “just in case”. These applications may be consuming RAM , so it may be ideal to uninstall them if we are clear that we are going to give them little use.
To do this we press “Windows + I” to access the “Settings” of Windows 10 and click on “Applications”. Inside we go to “Applications and Features”. From here we can select the programs that we do not need and click on “Uninstall”, to eliminate those that we can do without, thus saving RAM memory.
