The new Galaxy S20s are packed with new features on your camera, which were not available on previous models. However, some of the models that are being upgraded to One UI versions 2.1 also receive options that were exclusive to the new flagships. One of these functions is the so-called “Single Take” one of the most spectacular and that we are going to see now in detail.

What until a few years ago was a matter of point and shoot, has been transformed over the years into a process that leads us to have in our hands a huge number of options to shuffle, before taking a photo. The Galaxy S20 are one of the current references in terms of mobile photography. One of the most spectacular functions is called “Single Take” or Single Capture.

Use of AI
This mode allows you to use the Artificial Intelligence of the device to capture up to 14 different images in a single shot. The option is applicable to both photo and video mode. The function is very useful to capture the best moment of each photo, have details of the entire landscape or edit a specific area without losing quality. With this mode we can take wide-angle photos, close-ups and videos. Keep in mind that this mode does not support the use of zoom, since the sensor must capture the entire scene.

How to use the mode
In order to access Single Take we will have to tap on the camera app. Then we click on “Unique Capture” in the menu options. The next step is to tap the shutter button and scroll around to get the best shot. At that time, the camera will automatically capture the best image and best clips for each scene. When we have finished we tap on the preview icon and we can see the optimized results of the newly captured scene.

Access the results
Now, to see other results, we will only have to drag the icon upwards. To save the changes individually, tap on “Select” and mark the elements you want. Then it will only be necessary to touch the down arrow icon. The Galaxy S20 AI captures up to a maximum of 14 different types of photos and videos (10 photos and 4 videos) within 3 to 10 seconds of capture. All Single Take results will be shown in the Gallery, with the rest of the images.
