The wearables market already garners almost as much attention as the mobile phone market. Not for nothing are activity bracelets or smart watches the preferred accessories for mobile phone users. And Realme has launched the first of its watches last year, which is now going to have a second generation, of which we already know almost everything.
Last year, the Chinese firm’s watch became one of the most interesting on the market, becoming one of the best alternatives to Xiaomi or Amazfit watches.
Leaked almost everything of the new Realme smartwatch
There is one thing that is evident, and that is that this new Realme watch must be right around the corner, otherwise as much information would rarely be leaked as now, coming from both the FCC and the watch’s own manual. Because we have known its complete technical sheet. We are talking about the Realme Watch 2 , which has the RMW2008 model and has a 1.4-inch TFT screen with a resolution of 320 × 320 pixels. A watch that would arrive with a 305 mAh battery, which would give it an autonomy of up to 12 days with a single charge, this means a greater capacity than that of its predecessor. This smartwatch would be waterproof thanks to an IP68 certification, the highest that a device of this type can currently access.
In the file that has been revealed we can also see that it has Bluetooth 5.0 BLE connectivity, as well as with dimensions of 257.6 x 35.7 x 12.2. The new Realme watch would arrive with a heart rate sensor that would measure this 24 hours a day. It would also measure the oxygen saturation in the blood , as well as the quality of our sleep. Other functions are to control the multimedia playback of the phone and the notifications of apps on its screen. Another of the great improvements that this new watch will offer is the number of sports modes that it will have, since it will go from the 14 of the first generation, to no less than 90 different sports modes. Although it seems that these modes will mostly arrive through an OTA, and will not be available on launch day.
Are there changes to the design?
Some images of this new watch have also been leaked. And although at first glance it appears to have the same design as its predecessor, there appear to be subtle changes to this aspect.
Since we can appreciate some new pins for the strap , more traditional, which will surely allow you to change these for different ones. Although the screen looks the same, the case appears to be somewhat larger , and generally feels more like a watch, looking similar to the Apple Watch. We do not know when it will be presented, but it seems that it is a matter of days.
