realme is doing a fantastic job in terms of mobile telephony (the new realme 7 and 7 pro range caps are a good test -we will talk about them in depth soon, don’t worry- , but it is not the only segment in which they are handled. As you well know, the brand has also made its first steps in the world of Smart TVs and it seems that the attempt is not going to remain in something isolated: the firm has launched a new model again and with it even releases technology, the SLED .
First 4K TV and with SLED
The catalog of televisions of realme expands and begins to do it quite seriously. And, although we had already seen several models of the brand, the firm had not yet dared with what we can say is the star format of the moment: the 55 inches with 4K resolution.

Until now, of course. The new proposal of the Asian company goes precisely in that direction with a quite attractive TV in size of 55 ″ practically without frames (the panel occupies 94.6% of the body) and that raises the bet to 4K, with support for HDR10 + .

The realme Smart TV SLED 4K 55 ″ , which is its full name, is TÜV Rheinland certified (which values blue light emission, remember), has a Chroma Boost image engine, which promises to improve picture performance, and offers 108% coverage of the NTSC color gamut. It works with Android TV and has four integrated speakers of 24W each with Dolby Audio .

Among the details that attract the most attention, of course, is its “SLED” quality that is based on SPD technology . According to the manufacturer, with it, the light from the background is separated in a different way than other current solutions, achieving an ultra-wide color gamut and a superior NTSC color space (which reaches, as we have already indicated, 108%) . The result? More vivid and realistic colors that help to make the reproduction much better.
On sale very soon
Realme‘s Smart TV currently has the Indian market as its primary objective and it will be there where it will debut, with a debut scheduled for October 16 .
We don’t know anything about its availability in other regions. The truth is that its format fits perfectly on shelves like the Spanish ones, where the 55 ″ + 4K is undoubtedly the most popular combination of the moment. But we must also remember that for example in the case of Xiaomi, the firm took a long time to launch its televisions in our market – here we already tested the Mi LED TV 4S, remember – so it could really also walk with lead for a good weather.

What we do know is its price: 39,999 rupees, which is 459 euros , a cost very much in line with what we see in some brands with similar TVs.
Taking advantage of the launch, realme has also announced a 100W soundbar , the realme 100W Soundbar (they have not been complicated much with the name), of which we do not know the price at the moment.
