Having a too extensive catalog can cause problems to come at any time. Xiaomi manages the terminals with its own brand, in addition to the Redmi, Poco and Blackshark. The Poco X3 NFC is one of the most attractive options in a price range that does not reach 200 euros but, nevertheless, Xiaomi’s phone still has some problems with the camera, which remain unsolved.
We have previously talked to you about problems related to the Poco X3 NFC, specifically those that affect its indoor coverage. However, specialized forums, including those of the Xiaomi community, are full of users complaining about performance problems with the camera , including poor quality shots and unexpected crashes.

The camera does not focus and stops
The numbers of the terminal in terms of hardware do not leave room that by power it should not be. Recall that the Poco X3 NFC has four rear sensors with a 64 megapixel main lens and a 20 megapixel selfie sensor. However, as collected from Piunikaweb, there are several users of the terminal, who are reporting the poor focusing ability of the device, together with frequent crashes in the camera application.
Problems when changing sensor
The cases coincide in a good focus with the wide angle, but not with the main lens. In addition, sometimes the main and zoom cameras focus correctly for a few hours, to return to offer poor performance. The problem seems to be when focusing at a distance between 20 and 50 centimeters from the lens. Restarting the terminal doesn’t seem to work. Patterns have also been detected that make problems jump, such as turning on the video stabilization icon, at which time the app freezes completely, which also occurs when switching between the main lens and the wide angle and the selfie mode.
When does the solution arrive?
It was last October, when a moderator of the Xiaomi forums assured that an update would arrive soon with the pertinent corrections. However, during the month of November a patch was released for the Poco X3 NFC that did not register any of these optimizations. However, everything indicates that we could be facing a software problem and that the remedy is on the way. Keep in mind that the device is one of the candidates to receive Android 11, so it may be the salvation that many of those affected need.
