OnePlus Nord: Bluetooth Problems Continue

We have seen on more occasions that when a terminal goes on sale, it may not be completely mature and with many aspects to improve. As part of these improvements, manufacturers are rapidly releasing famous patches that fix bugs that may have remained in the pipeline, and that have ended up in the production units that end up in the hands of the end user.

OnePlus Nord: Bluetooth Problems Continue

However, there are times when these types of problems can be more or less annoying and end users’ patience, especially when they affect key functions such as Bluetooth. This is precisely what happens to the OnePlus Nord , a terminal that arrived as a promising terminal in terms of quality / price ratio, but whose failures have been present from day one, including those known with the screen or its fragility demonstrated in tests resistance.

Bluetooth failures

One of the most annoying failures of the OnePlus Nord has to do with Bluetooth connectivity , as reported by users in the official forums of the brand. According to those affected, who have been reporting the problem in the same thread since last August until today, the OnePlus Nord connects to Bluetooth devices without problems, but disconnects frequently or offers very weak stability.

Users report the same problem when connecting Bluetooth headsets, with successful connections in the first instance, but subsequent disconnections after a few minutes. Also, only rebooting the device seems to temporarily resolve the issue in order to reconnect. Users detail this problem with different headphones and from different brands.

There’s a solution?

The updates that OnePlus has released so far seem not to have solved this problem, at least not on all computers. At the beginning of September, Bluetooth released the patch to version 10.5.5 to fix problems with Bluetooth, but today, even with version 10.5.8 already released, the bugs are still present. As of the publication date of this post, the official thread of this problem in the OnePlus forums continues to grow, as the frustration of those affected grows. The star measure of many problems, such as factory favor resetting, seems to be the only valid solution. However, some users within the same thread report that the solution has worked for a few days, since the problem has been present again.
