Almost two months have passed since the 2004 version of Windows 10, also known as the May 2020 Update , saw the light of day. This new version has come to the users with a good amount of improvements and novelties of all kinds, but, unfortunately, it has also come full of bugs and problems. Every few days new problems and errors appear in this new version of the Microsoft operating system. And one of the last failures that is appearing to users is an error that shows us a message that tells us that we do not have an Internet connection, despite being connected.

Without the Internet: the new failure of Windows 10
This new bug, confirmed by Microsoft, does not actually affect the proper functioning of the operating system. However, it can be annoying, and even confusing, for users. Suddenly, for no apparent reason, users of this operating system see a message in the network status indicator of Windows 10 May 2020 Update indicating that there is no Internet connection , as if they were not connected.

The most curious thing is that, in fact, we are connected to the network. Users can ping servers, browse web pages, and access all operating system resources.
This bug also seems to affect users of Windows 10 1909 , the 19H2 version of the operating system. Therefore, it may have been introduced through the latest patches. And although it is not known exactly why, some users claim that this message appears especially after taking the PC from the state of sleep.
Microsoft is already investigating this new failure in its operating system that tells us that we are without the Internet to be able to offer a solution to users as soon as possible. However, for now, the company has not given more details regarding this failure or a possible solution to the problem or when the patch will be ready.
Is May 2020 Update worth it?
We cannot deny that Microsoft has worked a lot in developing Windows 10 May 2020 Update. This new version of the operating system has arrived full of changes and news of all kinds. Some of the most interesting are, for example, the new WSL2, a new Cortana, a new search engine, and even the possibility of resetting the PC from the cloud . But from launch day all kinds of glitches and bugs are popping up. Some are fixed with the cumulative patches of each month, but others are still there.
May 2020 Update, despite having been in development for a long time, is far from being a good update, free of bugs and errors. Users who have not yet installed the same should wait a few months and go directly to 20H2, the second update of this year that, we hope, will arrive much more refined and focus, as it should be, on correcting errors and mistakes in the face of future 2021 update.
For now we do not know details about the launch of 20H2 , although we expect to see this update around October or November of this year.
