A misuse of the registry can lead to a malfunction of Windows in many of its sections.
What is the registry and how to open it
Therefore, at this point it is important to know that the Windows registry is actually a database that is responsible for storing Windows configuration settings. Hence how delicate it is, more if we consider its size and the number of tickets it houses. Therefore all this is used to store much of the information and settings of the operating system. These refer to aspects such as hardware, user preferences, operating system settings, etc.

Modify protected registry entries

Therefore, we only have to search our account, so then we will see that we only have read permission on that entry .
Well, once we are here, what we have to do is double-click on our user account, which will already allow us to assign the Full Control permission. As you can imagine, this change will already allow us to make changes in this section of the system, just as it happens in the other free keys.
