Most PC gamers use Windows. This makes all developers bet on Windows as the main operating system to publish their games, leaving macOS and Linux in second place. Although more and more developers are releasing versions of their games for Linux, this operating system is still very much in the background. This distro has everything you need to fully enjoy the games and achieve maximum performance without sacrificing PC security. The main purpose of this system is to make it as easy as possible to configure the equipment and start the games. Install and configure Drauger OS
The installation process of this distro is not too complicated, although it does differ from the process that we may have seen in other similar distros. The first thing we must do is download the system and save the installer to a USB memory to start the system in Live mode .
Once inside, we can start the installation of the distro. The installation wizard requires a series of parameters to be able to carry out it without problems. For example, we need to configure keyboard and layout parameters, time, date and location, configure Ubuntu options , manage partitions and the user and password settings of the distro.
Each section has its own window from which we can configure the system. For partitions, this distro uses the GParted tool .
When everything is ready, we continue with the wizard so that all changes are applied and, in a short time, we will have our system ready to start working.
Sign in to Steam Big Picture automatically
This distro uses a XFCE desktop by default. When we log in, we will automatically see the desktop, and from it we can open the programs, clients or games that we want. However, if we are honest, the platform that has the most games to play on Linux is Steam , so it is probably the one we use the most.
If so, within the login window we will find an option that will allow us to log directly into Steam Big Picture Mode .
By selecting this, instead of starting on the XFCE desktop , we will do it directly on Steam. We will save time when launching the games and, from the first moment, we will be ready to play.
