How to avoid Instagram live video notifications
The solution is quite simple, since we will only have to access the settings to solve the problem. The only downside is that we will not be able to customize the notifications, so we either receive them on sight or cancel all of them. There is no middle ground, so if you wanted to leave the direct notice of any of your contacts, you are going to have to sacrifice yourself receiving the rest.
To deactivate the direct notifications we will only have to follow the following steps:
- Enter the settings of your Instagram account from the application itself. To do this, look for the icon of the points in the upper right corner and click on settings.
- Access the Notifications section .
- And inside select the option Live Videos and IGTV.
- Here you can select various options with which to limit the reception of notifications, but we will focus only on the first ” Live Videos “.
By deactivating it, we will be forcing Instagram not to warn us again about the publication of a live video of any of our followers.
Can I avoid the live videos of a specific user?
Unfortunately, the option does not allow manual selection of notifications by user, so if you disable notifications, you will not receive a notice from any of your contacts. One option would be to silence that user so that their stories do not appear and, therefore, neither their direct ones, although in the end you would lose the opportunity to find the content when you are interested.
If you decide on this option, all you have to do is press and hold on the balloon of the live broadcast or a Storie, and a dialog box will appear with the option “Silence”.
