Whether working or at leisure, the PC is perfectly capable of playing our favorite music content. For this we can use some of the many programs specially designed for it. The software called AIMP is a more than adequate solution for these tasks, so here we are going to show you how to prepare it for rock and metal music.
The truth is that when it comes to playing video content we have a good number of specific programs. Likewise, we find some reproduction centers that are in charge of helping us with all kinds of multimedia content , be it photos, audio or videos. However, finding applications that focus specifically on working with sound files is a bit more limited. For several years one of the best known and most interesting solutions of this type is the aforementioned AIMP.
This is a program specially indicated to load and enjoy our music files and all kinds of audio formats such as the popular MP3 . Obviously, here we are not going to have compatibility problems of formats , since it supports the most common ones, and others that are much less common. It is for all this that we are going to talk about a series of adjustments or tricks that you can carry out here in order to better listen to rock and metal music .
For all this that we tell you, the first thing we must do is access the configuration section of the program . We achieve this by clicking on the button located in its upper right corner that has the shape of an equalizer.
Configure AIMP to enhance rock and metal playback
Among the different tabs that we find in this new window, the first one is called Sound Effects . Here, in order to improve the playing experience of the commented music styles, we recommend you move the Bass slider to the right. This will increase the bass, something that is considered very important for this type of music in particular and thus enjoy it better.
This same window we also recommend you slightly activate the improvement in stereo reproduction through the Stereo Enhancer bar . Next, we will go to the tab called Equalizer that allows us to adjust the equalization of the musical themes that we play in the program to the maximum. In order to improve the experience when playing rock music, we all also recommend increasing the bass of this equalizer that appears.
We can do the same with the adjustments pertaining to the highest sounds , while we will leave the mids at a lower level . However, the best we can do here is to try different levels of increase in bass and treble because the quality will vary depending on the subject or the available hardware. It is worth mentioning that to return to the default settings we only have to click with the right mouse button on each equalizer bar.
With everything and with it and if we are not too experts in this type of modifications or musical adjustments, AIMP offers us a more effective solution. We are referring to the possibility that the program itself automatically establishes these settings depending on the theme that we are listening to and its style. Say this is something we can adjust in the drop down list at the bottom of the window called Presets .
