If in recent days you have tried to use the Google Keep application to take notes and create lists, you will have found that it is almost impossible to do so on your Samsung mobile. A very strange bug is happening all over the world, preventing users from being able to compose lists as usual and leaving them confused.
The story that began as a case in some smartphones, has been spreading to affect a large number of people around the world. Looking at the forums and publications on social networks where the case is taking place, we can see how in recent days this situation has been increasing.
A desperate mistake
The numbered lists take over the notes that we are trying to create on mobile phones, causing us to stop using them. Investigating what happened, we realize that the error is concentrated in Samsung smartphones that have already been updated with Android 12 , especially seeing cases in the Samsung Galaxy S20, Galaxy S21 and Note 20.
With the intention that the error ends soon, users have revealed the situation online, asking both Google and Samsung to look for the error and solve it. In the shared images, we can see how in the numbered lists , the mobile does not stop adding numbers to each of the paragraphs and that makes it impossible to use it.
The number of messages that have been happening have been successful and one of the moderators of the Google forum has confirmed the problem, warning that they are working on the investigation and solution. Those who suffer from the error explain that although they had also used these notes before updating their smartphone, they had not had to face this case. The situation leads us to think of a software error, where Google and Samsung will have to take action on the matter so that it does not take too long.
At the moment no one has managed to repair it on their own, deleting the data or uninstalling the application has not had an effect, the problem always reappears.
What can we do?
Now that we know that the problem that is affecting our mobile does not depend on us and that we can practically do nothing to stop Google Keep from failing on our Samsung Galaxy, we only have to look for alternatives. The best is not very far away and it is that, on Samsung smartphones we have the Samsung Notes app as standard.
An app created by the company itself to give us the same possibilities that Keep offers and even some extras with One UI. In case we have a terminal with SPen, we will even be able to make drawings, sketches and annotations with great precision and we will enjoy the change. To download it, we only have to do it from Google Play or from the Galaxy Store.
Another option at our disposal is to use Google Keep only on the computer or tablet, where the error does not appear.
