The launch has been made official through the South Korean forum itself, so it is a matter of time before it begins to be operational worldwide.
The mobiles that will receive the pleasure of obtaining this app to achieve impeccable photographic results are: Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 2 . We are talking about premium phones that during their generation became the most powerful terminal of the Korean brand and that many users have with them today.
Better photos for your Samsung Galaxy
In itself we are talking about three smartphones that boast exceptional qualities when it comes to taking photos and it is precisely for this reason that this announcement gains even more weight. Mainly, because Expert RAW is an application developed by Samsung itself for its top of the range with the best features, since they are the only ones that have the technology to support it . This means that the folding Galaxy Z Flip series and the Vanilla and Plus models of the Galaxy S and Note family do not have what is necessary for it, so do not expect compatibility for the app if you have one of them.
The need for high-end hardware to use Expert RAW is because it unlocks new features that the default camera app doesn’t have. Among the functions it offers is the control of the shooting parameters (ISO, white balance, shutter speed…). In addition, it also allows you to take images in RAW format that are ideal for later editing, since they do not lose any quality at all, although, of course, the weight of the photos will be much greater than usual.
