But, have they gone so far to have a balance between affordable prices and good autonomy?
It is now possible to find cheap electric cars
Electric cars have long become the alternative to gasoline or diesel cars, especially when fuel prices are so sky-high. And speaking of prices, it is increasingly common to find cheap electric cars of different brands and with different features, styles and capacities .
At least if we compare them with the average prices of the domestic car market. And if, in addition, we add the economic and tax advantages, discounts and exclusive financing of this type of vehicle, even more so.
So how is the market? Is it feasible to find electric cars that maintain a good autonomy at good prices? If we pay attention to our possibilities, there are some that are very attentive and complete, although it is true that most of them still have quite high sums today. In any case, we have the proof below with models that easily exceed 400 km.

Likewise, in recent times it has been seen that the price of gasoline or diesel combustion cars, their use and maintenance increased considerably, where the semiconductor crisis and the increase in the price of fuel were two of the Principal reasons. Chinese electric cars are perhaps the most talked about type of vehicle lately. The reason is none other than because there are more and more Chinese car brands that we can find in Spain. But it is true that, a few years ago, when we talked about Chinese cars we inevitably thought of replicas and copies, some of dubious similarity… but others very successful.
A good example is that of MG (now in Chinese hands, but still maintaining the essence of the British MG Motor), and this time with models as complete as the MG5 Electric, one of the most interesting electric cars in its category. It is an electric family compact, which is shown with a 116 kW electric motor (about 156 hp) and a 61.1 kWh capacity battery. Airways U5 (46,900 euros – 583 km)
This time, of purely Chinese origin and creation, we have the Airways U5, the electric SUV that is available with several generous finishes, a power of 152 kW (204 hp) and a range of up to 583 km.
As in many electric cars, its top speed is limited to 160 km/h to lengthen the time to plug in, but it certainly has many virtues that have earned it a nomination for Car of the Year in Europe . Compatible with the Moves III Plan.
Hyundai Kona EV (28,640 euros – 486 km)
The Hyundai Kona EV, the electric version of the Kona, which also has an engine that offers 152 kW (204 hp), all with batteries of up to 64 kWh that provide a record range of up to 486 km (realistic).
This makes it a compact sized city car that is also suitable for reasonably long journeys. Supported by an intermediate charging point, this car can go from Madrid to any point in Spain without any problem. Their prices vary between 28,640 and 35,000 euros)
Skoda Enyaq IV 60 (34,925 euros – 4o5 km)
If what you are looking for is an electric with reasonable autonomy and that is a true family car with which to travel in good company or with a lot of luggage, at this time the Skoda Enyaq IV 60 may be your best option.
In fact, we are talking about an SUV that measures 4.64 m long and 1.87 m wide, with a 585-litre boot… which with its current discounts has a really competitive price: 34,925 euros. In this case, we are talking about a single motor located on the rear axle that delivers 133 kW (179 hp) and 310 Nm with which the Enyaq iV 60 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.7 seconds, reaching 160 km/h top speed. Its autonomy is around 405-410 km . This model is associated with the simplest level of equipment in the range… but, even so, it is surprisingly wide.
