Returnal already has recommended requirements for PC: will you be able to play it at home?

The endless story

Returnal is a Sony exclusive, programmed by Housemarque and that came to PS5 in April 2021 but will land in the guts of computers in 2023. That is, more or less two years after its official premiere on the next -Japanese gene . Now, what is behind this small success that offers a development that is as original as it is absorbing?

For those of you who haven’t been the least bit concerned about what Returnal is (until it was announced on PC), it’s a video game in which our protagonist always returns to the beginning the moment she dies . Do not think that it is just a challenge focused on repeating the same loop over and over again, since there are caveats that will allow us to progress through its different phases.

It is true that the bulk of the story is organized as if it were an infinite loop that makes us repeat things several times, going through the same rooms (presented in a different order) and facing the same enemies, but there are moments in which the story Our protagonist’s memory will be able to store extra information that will give meaning to new powers and better weapons with which she will be able to reach new levels and challenges.

Will it work on your PC?

This being the case, Returnal on PC is not going to change the way you play in the slightest that it already has on PS5, so your only obsession should be knowing if it will work without problems on the hardware you have at home right now, since either on desktop or laptop.

And in either case, these are the minimum and recommended requirements that Sony will ask you for. At first glance, they don’t seem too demanding, but as with everything, they will be even better if the game is optimized and works without output errors.
