iTunes Error Message in iOS 13.6.1, Do We Have a Solution?

By the month of October, with iOS 13 practically fresh out of the oven, an error message began to appear on the screen of some iPhones and iPads, warning of a problem with iTunes. This tedious message disappeared after a series of Apple readjustments, but after the latest iOS 13.6.1 update it has reappeared and from what we have been able to verify it also happens to users with a version prior to this one.

Why do I get an error message on iPhone?

The message we are referring to appears in English, but in Spanish it would be something like “The iTunes Store at this time, try again later.” The funny thing is that this failure does not appear when some kind of purchase is made in an Apple service, but it appears randomly when opening an application . It is a very annoying bug because in many cases it does not even allow access to the application content.

iTunes Error Message in iOS 13.6.1

There is really no apparent reason for this error message. Apple’s servers have been working properly in the last few hours and there is no saturation for there to have been a collapse that sends that message to users. It could be due, as it happened in October, to an unknown internal failure and whose solution is more in the hands of Apple than of the user. In fact, a silent and background solution is expected that does not require the user to update the software or any application present on their iPhone or iPad.

What can we do?

As we said in previous lines, it will be Apple who will remedy this problem and after being reported by many users it is possible that it will be solved in the next few hours. In any case, you can try to do several things in order to tackle the problem on your own and see if you can circumvent this message, although there is nothing that is one hundred percent effective for all users and while it may work for some, others do not.

  • Restart the device. If there is any internal process on your iPhone or iPad that is also contributing to the iTunes crash, it will be completely removed by doing this.
  • Go to Settings> General> Reset and click on “Reset network settings”. In this way, you will reset all the internet connection parameters, thereby eliminating possible errors.
  • Delete and reinstall the application that is giving you failure.

You might think about formatting the device entirely, with or without backup. The truth is that we cannot recommend you to carry out this action because it is too tedious and in no case ensures that it will serve as a solution. The best thing in the end is to resign yourself to waiting for Apple to solve the matter. Anyway, we will update this same article with any possible workaround if it arises before the apple company fixes it.
