Among all the needs that arise in mobile phones, that the screen does not turn off while we look at it is one of the most useful. Many times we are reading something on the mobile and for not having interacted with the screen it is paid, although this has a solution in EMUI, where we only have to use the function of the screen in Huawei that keeps it on.
With the help of one of the EMUI 10 options onwards we will be able to activate this on all the firm’s mobile phones. It is, however, an option that is hidden and to reach it we will have to follow the steps one by one to achieve it, this function will be based on the front camera to control where we are looking and keep it on for as long as necessary.
Control the screen on Huawei with your eyes
The steps that we must follow so that the Huawei screen is on while we look at it are the following that we explain to you:
- First we will access the device settings.
- Then we will go to the section Biometric data and password.
- In the options that seem to us, we will choose Facial recognition.
- Finally we will activate the option “Keep the screen on while you are looking at it”
With this we will have already completed the process and we can put it into practice. If we leave the mobile on a surface and do not look at it, in seconds it will turn off and yet if we hold it with our hands in front of our face it will always be active.
Change how long the screen is on with EMUI
If this is not what we were looking for or we prefer to extend the default time, we have an ideal EMUI option. Sometimes we do not want the screen to turn off but we cannot be looking at the mobile continuously either and to change this set time we just have to follow these steps:
- We access the settings again.
- We enter the Screen and brightness section.
- Click on Rest.
- We choose between the options that go from 15 seconds to 10 minutes.
With this, the screen will remain active for more or less time, but we must not forget that depending on what we choose, it will not lock itself until after a while. We will have to manually lock the mobile with the power button before storing it in our pocket, purse or another place or we could make unintentional calls or many other things.
