The November 2022 update with the Android security patch for Pixel devices has arrived to fix display issues on the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro and issues related to app power consumption on the Pixel 6 series.
This brings the security patch and bug fixes and improvements for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 series as mentioned above, although it forgets one that is inconvenient for some of its users and we will also comment on which one it is.

Complete list of improvements that this patch brings
One of the main bugs it fixes is the one related to app power consumption on Pixel 6 series devices. It also fixes issues related to green screen flickering and screen power consumption that some Google users had. the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, for example, in direct sunlight. Also, fixed bugs in the Photos app.
The novelties of this update are specifically the following:
- Battery charging. Fixed issue causing increased power consumption while certain apps are installed on Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, and Pixel 6a.
- Screen and graphics. Fixed issue that would occasionally cause the green screen to flicker under certain conditions on Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.
- Screen and graphics. Display power consumption optimizations to improve thermal performance under certain conditions on Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.
- System. Fixed issue that would occasionally cause the Photos app to crash when using certain editing features on Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro.

One of the most anticipated novelties will not come with this update, since, although the company commented that they are actively working with Indian operators to activate 5G functionality soon, it will not be now, it will probably be in December.
But above all we are concerned that there is still no sign that there is a solution for the Pixel 7 Pro scrolling bug that affects a large number of users. For now, it does not appear in this month’s patch and we do not know when Google will decide to fix it on this device. It will probably arrive with next month’s patch that will come with news to end the year.
