Notably, this model boasts two slots for NVMe M.2 SSDs and two gigabit Ethernet ports, ensuring maximum LAN speed for efficient data transfer.
To leverage Synology Drive, you will need a NAS from the Synology brand, regardless of the number of bays. From the intuitive DMS interface, you can easily install the Synology Drive service (which is not installed by default) and other valuable packages, including Synology Office. With Synology Office, you can collaboratively edit documents, spreadsheets, and slides, akin to Google Drive’s capabilities.
Setting up your own Google Drive equivalent with Synology is remarkably straightforward, and the management options it offers are truly fantastic.
