New style and features for multimedia content
The so-called new multimedia widget for Android 11 offers us a drastic change with what we had previously, because when we activate a service that offers us sound or video it will automatically adapt to the shortcut bar. This is partly due to the change in access, where we have had fewer icons available.
All apps automatically adapt to this operation and allow us, as we can see in the images, several shortcuts. Just by sliding the bar once we can press play and pause, go to the next or previous content and of course take us quickly to the app. But if we also want more multimedia functions in Android 11 we will only have to completely lower the bar and we can fulfill other special functions of each app or move the playback bar to the desired point.
Change audio output on Android 11
At the top of the widget we also have a new quick access that allows us by touching it, to change the device where we listen to the audio. Its operation is very simple, because when you touch the button, the available Bluetooth devices or even the option to add new ones will open. In addition, we can change the volume with a quick slider.
Control multiple apps and sounds at the same time on Android 11
These new features also allow us to control videos and music at the same time in Android 11 , as the new quick access is integrated into blocks so that by sliding our finger from left to right we can pause or continue with everything that we are currently playing. This makes it much easier to know what is playing on our mobile, having all control in just one gesture.
