The latest version of the Xiaomi customization layer is MIUI 12 , an expected version that brings with it many changes and that was therefore expected to bring with it errors and problems. Regardless of the method we have followed to update to the latest version, we can find a series of failures of which Xiaomi already has evidence to solve them.
We ourselves can also be participants in MIUI 12 developments and we can report bugs and problems to Xiaomi with the intention that they be solved as soon as possible. One of the errors that can affect us the most is the whereabouts of the screen after unlocking it, something that in some cases does not disappear until the phone is restarted.

When using Google Assistant we cannot interact with it manually, although only through voice because the dark mode prevents us from seeing it.
App blocking
When we use multitasking to block applications from closing, we cannot unblock it when all the panel is shown in black.

When we are using the game mode, some messaging apps can be used as a floating window and it is impossible to use them due to a failure that does not allow them to be used normally.
Direct access to the calendar
From the MIUI 12 widget we cannot access the calendar directly, the app does not even try to open it.

In some cases notifications are displayed and in others it is impossible, a MIUI 12 issue that repeats itself randomly.
