Notifications are essential on our mobile. Without them we would not be able to know everything that happens on our mobile, including alarms, notifications regarding applications or email. However, Samsung mobiles allow you to activate a function to be able to postpone these notifications and see them later, so that we will not be distracted from our tasks and we will not lose anything we do not want.
On many occasions, whether working or for whatever reason, we cannot attend to all notifications. However, the taskbar is filling up with them, as fruitful as that is. The function of snoozing notifications has a clear objective , it allows to remove and clean the notification bar of everything superfluous or less important, while important notifications are stored that will come back to us later as a reminder.
How to activate the function
Thus, unanswered WhatsApp messages, unread emails or calendar notices can be postponed so that a reminder marked by ourselves will return the notices to us again. In order to activate the function, we must slide the status bar to open the notification bar, see the notifications that appear in it.
Choose notification
Now we must select the one we want to postpone and slide gently to the right to reveal the notification options. Now we will see both an options gear and a bell, we will click on the bell.
Mark the time period
The window that allows us to “Defer the notification” will automatically open, selecting a time for it to reappear after said period of time. In the case of Samsung and unlike the same option in Huawei, in this case the time may vary between 15 or 30 minutes and between 1 or 2 hours. The selection of this time will depend on ourselves, since a more urgent email is not the same as a WhatsApp message from a group of friends that we may be able to read later.
Repeat the process
Once done we will only have to click on “Save” and repeat the process as many times as necessary with all those notifications that we need to see later. At the set time, the notification will appear again in the notification bar as if it were new. It is important to note that there is no limit on deferrals, so the same notification can be postponed more times.
