Factory reset your phone
It may seem like a drastic solution, but it is certainly the best, of that there is no doubt. Because with this functionality of our phone we can eliminate the presence of any virus or malware that may be interfering in the phone’s calling app. For the factory reset, we must do the following:
- Make a backup of your mobile data, everything will be deleted during the process
- Turn off the phone
- Now it is turned on by simultaneously pressing the power button and the volume down button (volume up in the case of a Huawei mobile)
- The recovery menu will appear
- In it we must choose to do “wipe data / factory reset”
- We can move through the menu with the volume keys and execute with the power key
After doing this, our phone will restart after having erased all the data . This means that we will find the phone as we received it from the factory, having to enter the data of our Google account so that it synchronizes and installs all the apps that we had installed so far on the phone. And of course, all traces of that virus or software conflict that was causing the phantom calls will have disappeared, which after all is what we wanted to do.
