The tablet market may not be having its best time, but surely many users still prefer a large-inch portable device with which to consume content beyond the classic 7-inch phone. This is where the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite comes into play, a very interesting model that, although not the most powerful that we are going to find in stores, has a profile very thought for a large number of users.
A tablet without complications

Forget about tech specs, RAM, and resolution for a moment. You want a tablet with which you can comfortably browse the internet, watch YouTube videos non-stop and even take notes while studying, working or watching TV. You can do all this with this equipment.
A spectacular screen with a problem

We are facing a light tablet, with a 10.4-inch widescreen screen that offers a resolution of 2,000 x 1,200 pixels that looks frankly good. The problem is in the glass. The device has a layer that produces effects when it comes to reviewing the screen from certain angles. We are not sure if it is some layer of protection or something related to the S Pen, but it definitely affects when it comes to reviewing the screen.
It is something that we especially notice when we look at it at a certain angle, and it is quite annoying when the background of the image is white. It is something like a rainbow effect that, to put it in some way, even makes you dizzy. A pity, since the performance of the panel is excellent, even without being AMOLED, since this time Samsung has preferred to use an IPS panel .
It’s time to paint

Since its arrival with the Galaxy Note, the S Pen has become a hallmark in Samsung for many users. The utility of the digital stylus is a great help for a large number of users, so the incorporation of this accessory is a fantastic plus with which the tablet takes much more value.
In addition, the panoramic format makes it more enjoyable as a digital notebook than as a normal blackboard. The performance you can expect from the S Pen is the same as in the Galaxy Note. In other words, the 2,048 pressure levels work like a charm, and the software integrated into the system will allow you to take notes on screen clipping and browser captures without the need to install additional software (if you don’t want to, of course).

The only drawback of the pencil is that, as an accessory it is (although it comes included in the box), it does not have a place to always carry it next to the tablet. Luckily, Samsung has designed a practical case that protects the equipment from small bumps and scratches. And right in the fold of the covers, we will find a space to store the digital pen. That way we won’t lose it.

Of course, unfortunately the unit that we have been able to test did not come with the original S Pen that comes with the equipment, so we had to use the special edition of Staedtler that we have.
Cinema sound
Another detail that has surprised us is the sound power offered by its two side speakers . They are designed to offer the best experience while using the tablet horizontally, so if you use it vertically, we may not get the best stereo experience. This would have been solved by including 4 speakers, but we imagine that this is a characteristic more typical of more advanced models.
Leaving this detail aside, the power offered by both speakers is quite good, and it only takes half the volume bar to check the strength hidden inside. To complete the offer, these speakers carry the AKG Harman seal and Dolby Atmos technology.
A little more strength

In general, the device performs perfectly for the use that an average user could give it, however, we have noticed that on some occasions its Exynos 9611 processor and its 4 GB of RAM fall slightly short when it comes to demanding process speed.
This is something that we notice in the loading of some websites while browsing, or when it comes to quickly changing applications. But don’t be mistaken, the team performs quite well, and has allowed us to enjoy Android games and the Xbox streaming service, Project xCloud, like a charm.
Who uses a camera on a tablet?
This could be a fairly common question for many, but the truth is that social networks and the way we use the internet have changed things a lot. A camera is almost a must-have on today’s devices, and perhaps that’s why Samsung has been forced to include one.
And we say mandatory because the included sensors are nothing to write home about. The photos we get are of fair quality, and it seems to us a quite wasted detail considering the game that it could give if we combine it with the use of the S Pen.
Battery to bore

With 7,040 mAh of capacity , the battery of the Tab S6 Lite has seemed spectacular to us. With normal use of the device we have been able to enjoy the equipment for several days without having to plug it into the network, so this unit will ensure you several nights of reading before going to sleep, in addition to the occasional review of current events.
Who should buy this tablet?
The answer is quite simple, and it could be done by anyone. Anyone who doesn’t need heavy workloads, of course. If you are looking for a tablet for your day-to-day at home, with which to calmly review social networks and comb the internet, this team of 449 euros seems to us a magnificent purchase with which to complete your technological needs.
As if that were not enough, there is also a version with 4G that will allow us to connect to the internet from anywhere if we use a nanoSIM card.
What do we miss you?

To this Galaxy Tab S6 Lite we would ask for something more quickly, a fingerprint reader to log in and avoid the facial recognition system that so little convinces us, and a somewhat more useful camera that serves to capture more details that serve to be able to do more accurate scoring with the S Pen.
