Fortunately, this program allows us to download a completely free and functional trial version , which will allow us to test all the additional functions and add-ons, without the need to register, create an account, or enter any type of personal information. It will be enough to access its website and download the installation file, which has a weight of 902.96 MB . Its latest available version is 20.7.0.1714 .
How to install FL Studio
Once downloaded, we will find an installation file called flstudio_win_20.7.0.1714.exe . Once we run it, we will see the welcome message from the wizard that will guide us through the installation, which will recommend that we close all the programs before starting the installation and that to complete it we may need to restart the computer at the end of the installation.
On the next screen we must read and accept the conditions of use, which on the other hand are nothing special, by clicking on “I agree” . Next, it will ask us if we want the program installation to be available for all users or only for the current user. This is important, in case we have several users created for the use of the computer and we do not want the application to be available to others. In that case we must press the option “Current user only” . If we want it to be available to everyone, we leave “All users” checked.
Now we must select the FL Studio features that we want to install, checking all the components that interest us and unchecking all those that we want to discard. Its installation requires 1.9 GB of storage on our hard drive, so we must ensure that we have enough space for its installation.
We continue with the preparations for installation, we must choose the destination folder where the application will be installed. By default, the installer offers us the path C: Program-FilesImage-LineFL Studio 20 . It will also inform us, again, that it occupies 1.9 GB, as well as the space we have available on our hard drive. If we want to change the installation path, we can use it by clicking on “Browse” to select the desired directory. Later, on the next screen we will have to accept the path to install the plugins .
Click on “Next” and the FL Studio installation process will begin , which will take us a few minutes. The process will last more or less depending on the power of our computer and the programs we have open and are using.
Install ASIO4ALL 2.14
Once the installation is finished, a second wizard will appear to install ASIO4ALL 2.14 , so we will click on Next to continue. On the next screen we accept the license with the terms and conditions of use. Now we will mark the components that we want to install and select the installation folder. Finally, click on “Install”. The process lasts a matter of seconds and when finished click on “Finish” .
Run FL Studio for free
Once the installation is finished, we will start the program, clicking on the shortcut that has created us on the FL Studio 20 desktop. This way, its main menu will appear with all the available functions while the trial period is operational. If we finally decide to buy your license, we can click on the shopping cart icon located in the upper right. A window will appear with all the versions and prices available so that we can choose the one that interests us most.
