Does the Poco X3 NFC Have Poor Coverage Indoors?

The Poco X3 NFC has been, without a doubt, one of the great phones that this 2020 leaves us, which, finally, begins to come to an end. It is a mid-range with excellent features but, as is often the case with almost all phones that land on the market, it is not exempt from some other flaw .

Both in Spanish and Anglo-Saxon forums, users allege that Xiaomi‘s mobile phone has coverage problems. The fault is reproduced mainly indoors and affects both coverage and system connectivity, which seems to suffer micro cuts while when using the phone outdoors, there is no problem.

The phone works great when I’m out and about, but as soon as I walk in I keep hearing the sound interrupt once every few seconds for maybe half a second. W hen I stay near a window it stops. Also when I’m inside the signal is always very very low, but I had a Poco F1 before and had no low signal or connectivity issues.

Of course I live in the same building. Is this something that also happened to others? Should I return it to have it replaced?

I think nobody is telling the reality of this Poco x3 model in terms of mobile network coverage and data while indoors. At the moment, the news moon is that it is not a very widespread failure, at least not as much as the synchronization problems of the mobile with the Mi Band.

Some of the users affected by the failure of the Xiaomi phone have tried to disable the LTE connectivity and the problem disappeared. After some time, when I reconnected the 4G, the signal started to cut out everywhere.

Obviously, this is not even a temporary fix since giving up connecting to the main networks with the phone should not be provided as a solution to the problem. It is to be imagined that if user reports increase, the brand will get to work to fix the bug but at the moment there is no news about it.
