It is still a service that at the moment is only available to users in the United States, but Amazon Luna continues to advance and seems to do so at a good pace. Now the streaming game service also reaches the Android platform , but not all of its terminals.

Amazon Luna comes to Android
Hey @ TheCodeB00K , as Raghu from Team Luna explains below, you won’t have to wait very long for Android support (or, like, at all). Play Luna with early access now: https://t.co/IU81kXZouU pic.twitter.com/aVDCbQcP64

During the month of October, Amazon announced Luna , its streaming game service with which they would compete with the rest of similar proposals. Of course, they were going to do it in a different way, because they would not first have a catalog with which to compete face to face with the proposals of Stadia, GeForce Now or xCloud for example.
With time and the inclusion of Channels, such as Ubisoft, they would seek to increase their catalog of titles with much more advanced proposals, the so-called triple AA.

Returning to the issue of availability, initially Luna was available for PC computers with Windows and Mac through a web browser, and in the same way also for iPhone and iPad devices as well as of course its Fire TV. However, Android devices weren’t on the compatible list until now.
Amazon Luna can now be enjoyed on Android devices officially , but not through an independent application but again through the Chrome browser they have. Of course, in addition to the limitation by the territory where Luna is or is not available there is another but more.
Luna on Android at the moment can only be run on some specific Android terminals:
- Pixel 4XL, 4A, 4A 5G and 5
- Samsung Galaxy S10, S10 Plus, Note 10, Note 10 Plus, S20, S20 Plus, S20 Ultra, Note 20, Note 20 Ultra
- OnePlus 7, 7 Pro, 7 Pro 5G, 8, 8 Pro, Nord, 7T, 7T Pro, 7T Pro 5G

Along with this list of compatible phones, we must add that they must have Android 11 or higher and version 86 of Google Chrome. And of course, if you want to play in a much more comfortable way, nothing better than to also get a gamepad.
Amazon Luna outside the United States

The arrival of Amazon Luna to Android devices, despite being only a few, is good news that shows that everything is progressing correctly. Still, what any video game fan wants is to get out of the United States.
Luna’s arrival in more countries would undoubtedly be the best news the service could give. Because with this, you would not only have a new option to play via streaming, but also an additional competitor that would remove the rest of the candidates to change the way in which all those titles are played and accessed. And it is already known that competition is the only thing that really motivates changes.
Hopefully Amazon is completing that initial testing period with which they want to strengthen the foundations of the service for the subsequent global launch. Because now that we continue to spend a lot of time at home, the more leisure options we have the better.
